Resolving Conflict on the Ground in Peru
Mason students come from about 130 nations. Many international students enroll with the ambition of using their education to someday serve their native countries. PhD candidate Giselle Huamani Ober is one. She plays an important role in the Peruvian government’s cabinet-level Ombudsman Office as a conflict prevention advisor, working to mediate serious social conflicts that arise throughout her native country.
